1. This motor has enough oil pressure to be viable
2. This particular 1275/ Webber combo works
3. If the hydraulic ram in my engine hoist actually does need replaced already
4. If I got as lucky as I think I will and everything works perfectly!

I bought it from Woody’s Custom Shop on eBay.  I recommend them as a vendor.

1. Installed Rear Spotlight:  Purely aesthetic at this point… haven’t done any wiring or even put a bulb in the housing so I can’t say it’s broken yet.
2. Removed Pacesetter Muffler and Installed Harley Muffler:  Aesthetic purposes only, nice and shiny now.
3. Left Rear Fender Roll:  The tire used to rub the left rear fender but it doesn’t anymore.  I’d call this one a success.
4. Rear Suspension Bushing Swap:  All rubber bushings were swapped out for new red poly bushings.  Nice ride but I can’t really say I noticed an improvement.
5. Rear Brake Cylinders and Shoes:  A leak made this repair necessary.  Noticeable improvement in braking.
6. Lowered Rear Suspension:  Dropped the back end by putting a block in between the springs.  Looks really cool.
7. New Fuel Pump:  Swapped out dead fuel pump for new Carter P4070 pump… and then replaced that one again.
8. New Wire to Fuel Pump:  It ain’t broken yet
9. Rear Suspension Converted to Tube Shocks:  Absolute bust.  Changed back to original.
10. Tonneau Cover Alteration to Fit Roll Bar:  Necessary but not the greatest workmanship.  I will have to take it to another upholsterer at some point.
11. Driver’s Side Door Lower Hinge Replacement.  A necessary repair.  Rust found my lower door hinge but this seemingly major repair somehow turned out to be not to bad at all.  Thank you Larry!
12. Dashboard Gauge lighting swapped out to LED’s.  The cool-blue light put out by the LED’s (E9′s from Superbrite) was unexpected and less than aesthetically pleasing.  An easy swap in and out though.  One hiccup in the process was that the LED’s don’t seem to work in the load indicator circuit.  Consensus was that the LED needs a resistor to work in this low of a range.  Beyond my scope of understanding but nothing that couldn’t be solved by finding the right book.
13. Horn Troubleshooting.  When the steering rack was changed out the horn became an unforeseen casualty.  Oh well, off came the steering wheel.  An easy fix.  Ground, check.  Power, check.  Thanks Larry!
14. Oil Pressure/Water Temperature Combo Gauge Install.  A simple and straightforward swap, thanks to my nimble-fingered helper.
15. Windshield Wiper Fluid Line Replacement:  Yep, did that
16. Windshield Wiper Bezel Grommet Replacement:  Replaced these while trying to track down a water leak that soaks my legs in the rain.
17. Transmission Replacement:  Had to do this once so far.  Old tranny got stuck in first gear.  Bought a new used one for $125 shipped and sold the old one to someone looking for a transmission to rebuild for $75+ shipping!
18. Front Damper Rebuild:  Sent them to Peter C. at World Wide Auto in Wisconsin.  Amazing improvement for a while then I had to have the driver’s side rebuilt again within 1 year.  It was nice to see that WWA honored their lifetime warranty.
19. Front Suspension Bushings Replacement:  All rubber bushings were replaced with poly bushings except for the sway bar bushings, which got new rubber ones.
20. Front Springs and Pan Spacers:  Replaced standard front springs with 340# shortened springs and put in a set of spacers under the spring pans.
21. Front Grill Replacement:  Swapped out the incorrect later MG from the car with my dad’s old ’66 correct aluminum one.
22. Hood Release Cable Replacement:  It broke once when I tried to open the hood.  That was a fun one.
23. Throttle Cable Replacement:  Left me stranded on the highway in Ohio.  Swapped in a new universal throttle cable from Autozone.  Now that I’m thinking about this I’m reminded that I need to go back in and adjust that.  I’m not sure if it stretched or what but I’m not getting full throttle when I put the pedal to the floor.
24. Wing Mounted Mirror Replacement:  The right one was broken off when a drunk tourist ran into it while walking on/off the sidewalk in Key West and the left one was broken off by someone skiing down muy street in Pittsburgh!
25. Wheel Replacement:  When I got my car it had a set of the rare early-rostyle wheels on it.  I like those but I wanted a set of the correct ’66 disc wheels.  While I was doing that I swapped out the 185 tires to 155′s
26. Steering Rack Replacement:  I was chasing a high speed wobble when I swapped out the rack I had for a known good one.  I replaced the rubber gaiters and tie-rod ends on the new(to me) rack prior to install

I’m sure there’s more… I guess I could come back in and edit this later.  I lost power to the gauge lighting earlier this month, that’ll be my next project
